Associate Faculty Podium Presentations
In order to provide interventional radiology and neurointerventional radiology fellows, residents and aspiring IR/NR medical students with podium experience, the Advanced Interventional Management Symposium (AIMsymposium) will hold its second Associate Faculty Podium Presentations Program during the November 2018 AIMsymposium. Interventional Radiology and Neuroradiology Fellows, Residents and Medical Students can submit an abstract to the Associate Faculty Program for presentation at the podium. Accepted abstracts will be posted on the AIMsymposium website for up to one full year and can be used for reference. The best three presentations will receive cash prizes of $350 (1st place), $250 (2nd place) and $100 (3rd place). The program is also open to interventional radiologists and neurointerventionalists in their first 2 years of practice.

AIMsymposium Podium Presentations

Interventional radiologists and neurointerventionalists in their first 2 years of practice, fellows, residents and medical students from the United States and the entire world are encouraged to submit their work to the AIMsymposium Associate Faculty Podium Presentation Program. The best three presentations will be publicly recognized and will receive cash prizes of $350 (1st place), $250 (2nd place) and $100 (3rd place). All presenters will be listed on the AIMsymposium website as Associate Faculty of AIMsymposium and will receive a Certificate attesting to their presentations. The 2018 Associate Faculty Podium Presentation Program will be CME accredited.

Abstract Guidelines

Abstracts should be submitted by the presenting author no later than 5:00 P.M. EDT August 31, 2018.

  1. Abstracts should be written in English and submitted by the presenting author no later than 5:00 P.M. EDT August 31, 2018.
  2. All podium presentations will be in English.
  3. The presenter's name should be underlined on the abstract for easy identification.
  4. Abstracts should not exceed 450 words beyond the title, the name of the author(s), Institution. All abstracts must be submitted as a PDF Document only.
  5. Each presenter can submit up to 2 abstracts but if selected can only participate with one five-minute oral (podium) presentation.
  6. Presenters of accepted abstracts will be notified within 2 weeks of submission. The presenter's name will be listed as an Associate Faculty on the AIMsymposium website once the abstract is accepted.
  7. All accepted abstracts will be published on the AIMsymposium Website for up to one full year, and can be used for reference.
  8. Abstracts should be submitted via the Associate Faculty Only Log-In. Please click here to Register as an Associate Faculty and to submit your abstract. Please be sure to complete the registration process. Please note that a separate, paid registration for the meeting will be required.
  9. As an Associate Faculty, you will receive a reduced registration fee to attend AIMsymposium. You will be responsible for your own travel, lodging and other expenses.
  10. The presenting author must REGISTER to attend the AIMsymposium once the submitted abstract has been accepted. Please click here to REGISTER for the November 2018 AIMsymposium.
