Associate Faculty Podium Presentations

In order to provide interventional radiology fellows, residents and aspiring IR medical students with podium experience, the Advanced Interventional Management Symposium (AIMsymposium) will hold its third Associate Faculty Podium Presentations Program during the November 2019 AIMsymposium. Interventional Radiology Fellows, Residents and Medical Students can submit an abstract to the Associate Faculty Program for presentation at the podium. Accepted abstracts will be posted on the AIMsymposium website for up to one full year and can be used for reference. The best three presentations will receive cash prizes of $350 (1st place), $250 (2nd place) and $100 (3rd place). The program is also open to interventional radiologists in their first 2 years of practice.



AIMsymposium Podium Presentations

Interventional radiologists in their first 2 years of practice, fellows, residents and medical students worldwide are encouraged to submit their work to the AIMsymposium Associate Faculty Podium Presentations Program. The best three presentations will be publicly recognized and will receive cash prizes of $350 (1st place), $250 (2nd place) and $100 (3rd place). All presenters will be listed on the AIMsymposium website as Associate Faculty of AIMsymposium and will receive a Certificate attesting to their presentations. The 2019 Associate Faculty Podium Presentations Program will be CME accredited.

Guidelines for Preparing and Submitting Your Abstract to the Podium Presentations at AIMsymposium 2019:

  1. Abstracts should be written in English and submitted by the presenting author no later than August 30, 2019 at 5:00pm Eastern Time.
  2. All podium presentations will be in English, with 5 minutes of oral and slide presentation followed by 2 minutes of discussion.
  3. The presenter's name should be underlined on the abstract for easy identification.
  4. Abstracts should not exceed 450 words beyond the title, the name of the author(s) and institution.
  5. All abstracts must be submitted as in PDF format ONLY. The submission portal will not accept other formats (i.e., Word, Word Perfect, Excel, etc.).
  6. Each presenter may submit up to two abstracts but can present only one abstract.
  7. Presenters of accepted abstracts will be notified within 2 weeks of submission. The presenter's name will be listed as an Associate Faculty on the AIMsymposium website upon acceptance of the abstract.
  8. Accepted abstracts will be linked to the presenter and presentation title on the AIMsymposium website for up to one year.
  9. Abstracts should be submitted via the Associate Faculty Only Log-In. Please click here to submit your abstract and complete the required Associate Faculty form.
  10. A separate, paid registration for the meeting will be required. As an Associate Faculty, you will receive a reduced registration fee to attend the entire AIMsymposium. You will be responsible for your own travel, lodging and other expenses.

The Associate Faculty Podium Presentations at AIMsymposium will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at the New York Hilton-Midtown in New York City.
